This was some of Angela Bassett's finest work, for sure.
Aw, man. I loved this a lot. What a fun, sweet episode.
Unless you're Canadian.
I'm just…look, I thought I had a high capacity for dumb shit. I'm an avid consumer of junk pop culture so I thought I had become immune to it all. But sitting here, listening to this buffoon, I realized that I was merely adopting dumb shit. Trump was born it.
I can't tell if you're a Trump supporter or a nihilist.
Watch at least until episode four of the first season. If the last 10 or so minutes of it don't win you over, then I think you're OK to stop watching.

The Captain Underpants were a huuuuuuuuge part of my childhood. I had no idea that they were making a movie until literally last week. Glad to hear it's pretty good.
You have Oscar Isaac, an actor who can radiate menace and charm simultaneously, and you put him in like, thirty pounds of make-up and don't let him go to town? He should've played Mister Sinister.
Man of Steel had some good ideas. Krypton looked great. Seeing Superman go on a journey of self-discovery was smart and well done. I'll fight anyone who doesn't think The First Avenger is one of Marvel's best. My only real complaint with it is that we didn't get to see more of Captain America fighting Nazis during WWII.
Yeah, but he's turned into a well-rounded, intelligent, and funny dude with a killer beard.
Covfefé.
Robert Michael Morris' performance as Mickey was definitely why that season two finale was so absolutely perfect. RIP, Mr. Morris.
Yeah, thank you! I was like, "Hmm, the original group was definitely not playing 5e. No death saves?" But my partner was like, "Oh my God, who cares?"
Yeah, she's actively recreating their lives, and I think, too, she's letting herself be taken in by the personalities. Brains affected Lowell similarly, if I recall?
Is Holland leading the whole movie by himself? I thought it was going to be a split. Maybe I imagined that.
