Fun fact: You die at hour six but are reborn at hour seven.

Meteora had some good shit! So did Hybrid Theory! And then they went in a completely different direction that made me retroactively hate those two albums for a long time, but…

I'm hoping we get some brief description of his time in the other dimension. He's had to have fought some insaaaaane supernatural shit, right?

Yo-Yo's ride or die.

Ohhhh, Ivanov as a MODOK? Good catch.

"What?"

I was wondering why they showed that one guy holding a hammer. I thought it would come into play later, but it turned out it already had, which fuuuuck.

Mallory Jansen is absolutely stellar. And Iain de Caestecker is the beating heart and soul of the show.

You should try Masterchef Junior. It's all kids who just happen to be amazing chefs. He goes out of his way to be supportive and helpful. It's a nice counterpoint to stuff like Hell's Kitchen. But even in Kitchen Nightmares, he only ever seemed to be a shouty asshole when he was matching the owner or chef's attitudes,

Yeah, this. It's especially blatant on Hell's Kitchen. Those are all professionally trained chefs who should be able to handle the pressures of the competition, but they're out there serving raw food or soggy risotto.

It's a shame about No Tomorrow. Its season - and, I guess, series - was a pretty interesting jumping-off point for a second season. I would've been interested to see how they would've pulled it off.

Yeesh. That was…that was not a great decade. I was entering my teenage years, and…yeah, fuck.

Atari makin' a comeback! Nice.

He wouldn't really fit in a Justice League full of Magic-users, would he? Honestly, I'd rather he and Renee lead their own show.

The only good thing about Cinco de Mayo when I was growing up was that occasionally we would get free ice cream in a cup colored like the Mexican flag. I don't remember what the flavors were but damn were they good.

Oh, def. Growing, Speedy Gonzales was the character my cousins in Mexico and I liked most. He was fast as hell, funny, and clever. He was a hero but also mischievous. What wasn't there to like? He was outsmarting the gringo cat all the time. His cousin, Slowpoke? Er, yeah. That one's not a great character.

Team Rocket's become a lot more straightforward with their Pikachu theft in recent years, huh.

Day One IMAX, and hopefully 70 mm, showing for me. Looks really good.
