Connor isn't as fun as he was in the first season, alas.

Cassidy as Black Siren is probably somebody of the best work that she's ever done. This was a great episode. Enjoyed all three plots a lot.

The Warren and Laura relationship is boring. C'mon, you could've had young Cyclops and the new Wolverine get together, and just made jokes about it the entire time.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is the writer behind both Afterlife and Sabrina, right? That dude can spin a creepy yarn.

Yeah, you'd think he'd add some diversity in there. I think he even mentioned trying to be better about it in season two. But, also, his main love interest is Noël Wells, who's awesome, and like, a little Latina. She was great in that show.

Rapaport looks like a half-baked gingerbread man.

Heh. That chicken was pretty dumb.

When he signed the Keystone and DAPL order, he at some point just started muttering: "Lot of jobs. Good jobs. Construction jobs. Good jobs." He sounds unwell.

The only thing that I wish we got out of these segments was the correspondents actually pushing these supporters on their beliefs. Like, they get right up to the line, but don't do anything more than give their ideological opponents the mic and maybe playfully rib them. Where's the righteous anger? For one, these four

Sorry, fuck those other Americans. I'm cool on this side of the argument.

It was a beautiful film, and I'm grateful that I didn't have to view it as a critic. It lived and died by its direction and the chemistry of its leads. Was it beautifully written? No, its middle section, in particular, was rushed to its detriment. Did it change my life? Not particularly, but it was lovely to take in.

The Adventure Zone is wonderful. I really appreciate how the brothers try to ensure that it's as inclusive and diverse as possible through their PCs and NPCs. I also spent a lot of last year going through it, and I've branched out into their other podcasts, all of which are a lot of fun.

Way to zag on 'em in twenty-serpentine, SeeSo.

I mean, the McElroy's do visual stuff, too. They've been in front of the camera before; their stuff for Polygon is generally fun stuff. If this were anyone else, I wouldn't be so sure the transition would be smooth, but I trust these guys to make good good content.

Ah, well, 15 year old me would be crushed. But now? Fuck these dudes. Shit ain't metal.

Teddy Grant?

I wasn't the biggest fan of Jess and Robbie together, even as I grew to love Robbie more and more with each episode. Robbie awkwardly trying to diffuse an awkward situation by making awkwardly jokes about the awkward situation that then fall flat because it's too soon, yyyyeah, that's a move I've used in the past. I

I'm sure I'm on one by now. Who knows what the standards to get on one will be a week from now.

It's a shame he doesn't get to be charming anymore. I mean, I'm glad the love triangle's over, but dang am I over him being dour all the time.

The entire time that Petra was freaking out about being "betrayed" had me confused. This didn't come out of nowhere. He was directly defending himself against Petra's vindictiveness. She was trying to rob him of his livelihood. He should've led with that when she was confronting him, but, of course, he didn't because
