Keeping a strong focus on the curse rather than the monster would be a start.

I truly love the first Mummy movie. It was just fun.

Oh! Saga crossover?

Tomorrow we'll be far away
Tomorrow is the judgement day

What great accents.

I'd hit it.

Story wise? It could've used some breathing room. It rushed through a lot, especially the training and relatjonship backstory, and the threat never felt like a threat. Mads had a fantastic vibe but his character as a whole didn't blow me away. What did blow me away, though? How much fun I had. I watched in IMAX 3D,

I mean, after Blind Guardian's repertoire, we had to know…

I've been having trouble concentrating at work. Which, for example, is why I'm so damn active on here these days. What're some good playlists for getting through the day, y'know, productively?

I thought it was the Dean.

Dana Carvey follows me on Twitter, and I haven't the faintest goddamn idea why. (Besides that he's one of those dudes who follows tens of thousands of people.)

"IMAX 3-D is the only way to experience Inhumans!…because otherwise Medusa's hair blocks every shot."

It doesn't help that…it's really super catchy. In a musical full of super catchy, dark songs.

I forking hate that I have to wait until January for Tahani and one of my favorite new comedies of the year to return.

Her little nod to Jason when Michael mentioned the flying bears? Adorable.

Captions say: "Shawn."

Jason Mantzoukas would be an AMAZing choice for Shawn.

But the lead character's still going to be made into a white guy, right? Not Filipino?

Unrelated but: if you were to start singing "Tomorrow Belongs to Me" at a Trump rally, what're the odds most people there know the lyrics by heart but not its point?

Ant-Man was probably one of the better Phase 2 MCU movies. It's worth a Saturday afternoon watch, I feel. It's not essential, but I think it's why I like it. Also, not for nothing, but for all of the talk of Edgar Wright, the bits that were obviously "his" are weaker than Reed's bits. I'm excited to see what he can do
