King Ezekiel was a fun character in the comics. Here, he's more than that. He's charming, intelligent, and smart. The actor plays his schtick in just the right way. He's got a great presence. His whole aura comes off in a way that makes his thing not take me out of the show. I liked that all f his people were wearing

Jeffrey Dean Morgan deserves to have fun. If we had to watch this mess, well, at least Morgan had a smile on his face.

The second half of Luke Cage couldn't match the first, and that's a damn shame. And yet, I liked the last ten minutes of this episode a lot.

I caught this again on a rerun. It was the first episode I could bring myself to watch without feeling the sting of that series finale. (Again, bullshit.) But yeah, I'm remembering why I loved this show. When it was on, it was on.

White Josh is the most stable, mature character on the show, and I love it. And his relationship with Darryl.

I am known exclusively by my last name by a lot of people.

The Stacey Boss reveal in the barbershop is fan-fucking-tastic. Jemison just absolutely nailed it.

I'm still not sure why a bunch of lawyers-in-training and an expert lawyer couldn't devise a simple self-defense, er, defense. You can reasonably explain away the breaking-and-entering part because they're always there at all hours of the night anyway. Rebecca was being strangled and showed visible marks from that.

I liked their Moriarty, to be honest. And the action's pretty fun. And…oh, I guess I like these movies.

Great interview, A.V Club. One: I want more Crazy Ex-Girlfriend so I'll take anything I can get. Two: The choreography on this show is truly stellar. I'm glad that Kathryn Burns won that Emmy. It's well-deserved. Can't wait to see what they have up their sleeves for this season.

I wasn't super sure about it at first. I loved the original theme song a lot. But it's grown on me something fierce. The BLAM! gets me, every single time. The hold on Bloom's face is juuuuust right. It's perfect.

That was great. I hate not having anything particularly insightful to say about shows I like, but I just really enjoy my time with The Good Place.

I did, too!

You know what trashy airport novel might make a pretty fun movie or miniseries? The Cobra Event.

I honestly can't imagine them ever having sex. They're Bert and Ernie without the sexual, emotional or comedic chemistry.

I have a soft spot for The Marked Ones. I mean, it's cholos vs. witches.

Wait, wait, wait. She's 30. How old are her kids going to be?

Joe's all about family.

Wouldn't they be like, just younger looking adults at that age? Or maybe stoner college kids?

Robbie remains the best part of the season so far. It's nice to have a force of nature not be immediately explained away as something "plausible."
