If she couldn't understand a word of English, and obviously wasn't interested or aware of what she was supposed to be doing, why did she volunteer?

He really shouldn't come back, if they do I think it would devalue one of the all-time great character farewells.

Dear AV Club: please hire a proofreader.

Brooks' only appearance was one of Cecily's old lovers; the guy on the back left of the elves was definitely an extra.

I just searched Youtube, and there are a lot of Bye Bye Bye dances at weddings, weirdly (totally inappropriate subject matter, I'd have thought).

I love how much love this new version has for the original Tomorrow People - I'm English, but I was born in 1976 so missed the 1973 original.

Completely agree. Although her age has never been mentioned on the show (I think) and the actors are clearly around the same age (Amell is 25, List is 27), in storyline it felt like a terrible idea. Even if they were on a break, he must have known what a dick move it was, and I just don't buy him doing it - especially

It's better than HIMYM in that it does what it sets out to do, and does it well. HIMYM has betrayed its audience over and over again, with the "that was the day everything changed forever" overuse, and letting the wacky sidekick character take over the show. Although HIMYM may reach higher heights, it's reached much

Just an awful episode, maybe as bad as it's been this season (and ever). They would have had food that wasn't in that fairly small cooler, for one…just bad slapstick and characters that didn't seem remotely like the characters of the previous episodes.

So really, for those of us who want to read the TV reviews, it seems like you've gone out of your way to make it worse. Why did no-one think about testing this?

Well, we know Matt Bomer wouldn't enjoy it, whereas I imagine there are worse things in the world for a straight man than kissing Tiffani Theissen.

The son and the criminal were travelling together, the son heard about the sick dad, came back to the US, but the criminal kidnapped him when they arrived. I think.

I never, ever miss Chelsea Peretti in this. She feels teleported in from a show of the past - like a slightly more normal Latka Gravas, or something. Her broadness just doesn't work in this show, like if Parks and Rec hired Max from "Happy Endings" and had him play the part exactly the same. The single-camera, more

It was just a really weirdly misjudged episode, I thought. I liked the idea of representing Sheldon's mental problems in such a way, up to the final reveal of that storyline. I'm now of the opinion that Leonard beating the crap out of him might be the best solution for both characters.

I'm sure she's a lovely person, but I could go the rest of my life without seeing another self-consciously oddball "adorable" person on my TV. She seems like a throwback to 10 years ago.

Just…something. The review got that element of the show on the nose, I think, the problem the show butts up against when trying to tell new stories with the same characters in the same holding patterns as they've been since the beginning of season 1.

Qualified thumbs down from me, sadly. I'm not a teenager any more so seeing women pretend to sort-of kiss each other does nothing for me, and the bit where they met was ludicrous - her husband's an asshole because he's annoyed at her cheating on him?

I think this season's been strong anyway, and this was just another excellent, funny episode. Loved both the plots, even if they were fairly hoary old ones. I don't know that it needs to change anything, although it's low ratings and inevitable cancellation might say otherwise.

I'll throw a vote behind continuing coverage of this show.

It doesn't just mean anal, though - there's a more archaic meaning which is a half-friendly way of calling someone an asshole.
