Frank Miller was always a pretty unpleasant right-winger, though. I don't think 9/11 did much other than speed up his turn to complete lunacy.

Much like Patrice O'Neal did at one of the roasts he worked, calling everyone out on their bullshit worked really well.

Isn't saying "yes, fans, you were exactly right, and we're not going to change, but here's a video mocking you" bullshit?

Agreed - it had a lot of charm to it, and some of the storylines were good, but by crikey could it suck hard when it wanted to.

Her from the XXX version of the Office…Ashlynn Brooke, I think…can act, and is retired from porn. I think she'd be decent.

Wasn't she with a man on Warehouse 13? I watched it and don't remember anything other than the normal Myka / HG friendship on that show.

I hated the Stahma / Kenya thing because it made no sense to either of their characters. Kenya ditches what would presumably be a career-ending relationship with the Sheriff only a week or so ago and is absolutely 100% fine now; and Stahma is, up to this point, the show's real villain - she's clearly the power behind

I can only hope that they're aware of the problems the show has had, and are working furiously to set the show on a decent track for season 2. It seems like they keep trying to resolve things by killing people off, and see-sawing between huge plot developments, but the show's ended up being too far from its

Your name is at the top of every post you make. Seriously.

Kate McKinnon, who I think is going to be the next big star of the show. Taran Killam, also talented and funny. Cecily Strong. Seth is still going to be on the show til mid-season. Vanessa Bayer. And so on,

Count me as one of those guys who's still bummed about Paul Brittain leaving…

@avclub-9c75bab0f5d964591655e73e7c22c540:disqus , there's not been a goodbye every year. No-one left in 2011,  for instance.

So, everyone's fine with people destroying a wedding, just because (luckily, as it turns out) neither person really wanted to do it? It seems insane to me that it's written off as a bit of wacky fun. For a show which has pretty much held itself within the bounds of normality, for something like this to happen is just

These gifs don't appear to be moving.

I mean, we all want Mulaney back, but is there any indication that's actually going to happen? I can't imagine their writers being thrilled about Mulaney leaving, trying a pilot, failing, then getting promoted on his returm.

I really have to hope they wait a good long time before they bring him back. Are there many recurring characters who never made another appearance after their owner left the show?

Absolutely. I think, when the history of the complete run of SNL is written, hopefully many years in the future, that Stefon in general, and that last scene in particular, are remembered very fondly.

Probably. Does he do a lot outside SNL? I never see his name about.

They've already done that once, I'd be surprised if he shows up again.

I think Rebekah's great, and have done ever since they stopped her being such a massive villain. Her vulnerability and desire for love has really been interesting and the actress has done a lot with it.
