Todd, I think the OP's point was that having a list from someone whose TV watching was based on what his wife would let him watch seems like a slightly odd decision. I don't know why TV is harder to watch than books are to read (which your post seems to indicate).

I haven't watched it in a long time, but I remember when season 1 was airing, a lot of places were praising it as being a straight-faced parody of these sort of shows, that it was well aware of how silly it was and played up to it.

I felt the pace of the past few episodes was pretty ponderous. I love the show, have enjoyed it throughout its entire run and will continue to enjoy the last few episodes, but I don't think a great deal of anything got completed in this ep. I know, big stuff happened, but I just didn't feel at any point that it was an

I'd be surprised if the ending is anything but a timeline reset. Why finish the show 20 years in the future, in an alternate timeline, where Walter is sorta responsible for the deaths of most of the planet?

I think they need to retool things a little for next season. First things first - the Ted who won the Shiva Bowl could be Ted Danson. He's done good work on TV recently, and him playing himself could be fun. A trip to Boston for the draft?

I know the show's odd, but if my wife had sought someone out to make out with them, I'd at least have some sort of reaction. Kevin didn't even bat an eyelid.

Having read further down, I see that wasn't the reason, but the review sure made it seem that way.

I'd have appreciated if she'd just not mentioned it, then, if that were the case. From reading those comments throughout the season, the main source of disagreement between her and the commenters was her idea that the theme of this season was "recycling". Most of the commenters disagreed with her (and turned out to be

It's a victim of its own gimmick. We've seen Marshall and Lily together in 2030, so there's zero dramatic tension to be milked from their marriage (and if either actor leaves the show, it'd make it virtually impossible to change things round), we know Robin's not the mother, etc.

I'm not sure you're 100 percent correct on Cheers - Ted Danson told the rest of the cast he was leaving, they all sort of thought "well, that's that then", and then one of the producers tried to get Woody to take over as star of the show. I mean, they undoubtedly knew they were ending, but I'm not sure it's a choice
