Thank the lord. I don't even care that he didn't like the show, it's just that every damn review was about how much he didn't like the show, rather than the show itself.

Excellent point, @ventricular buzzword.
I've no problem with people being negative about shows, but it really seems that Rabin is being negative for reasons that just don't apply. He wants it to be something, it isn't, and he's just refusing to review the show on its own terms.
One of them was sleeping with smoking-hot TV presenter Caroline Flack, a woman in her early 30s, so they've already done better than I ever will in my life.
She's doing okay now, it would seem, @olivececile:disqus . She's been in a bunch of films in the past couple of years, including one with my celeb crush, Ashley Williams, called "Heterosexuals", which if it ever gets released (listed as 2010, but no reviews and no way of watching it online) I will be all over like…
ITT: @avclub-9ff7c9eb9d37f434db778f59178012da:disqus being an obnoxious dick to everyone who's not read the books three times.
Completely agree. It's so unbelievably tedious - and to @avclub-9e1c66bae6542c6d826594f1e312c759:disqus and others, just as Martin is entitled to write however the hell he likes, we as his paying customers are entitled to be pissed off at the funereal pace of the last few books.
I would love to read it, personally. Much as I pretend it annoys me, there's something about Hank's character and the world around him that keeps me coming back. I'd like you to ask him about the best supporting characters, and if he wishes he could have kept some of them around.
@avclub-e4e8df79871d5a0509fa5b94245f91f4:disqus , I'm the same. No matter how many dumb things this show does, I'm with it to the bitter end (and will recommend it to friends and family too).
Sorry @avclub-e4e8df79871d5a0509fa5b94245f91f4:disqus , I was assuming you'd not seen the show before. And you might be right about Tyler, but I'd lay money on him being gone, although they may mention him being off doing some hack work on some b-movie somewhere.
@avclub-e4e8df79871d5a0509fa5b94245f91f4:disqus , this show ditches supporting casts between seasons, so I wouldn't worry about Sam, Tyler, Kali or Lizzie. They're all gone.
They've always been fairly insistent that their world contains no real psychics - the only other one they met, a few seasons ago, was revealed to be bogus as well.
Get your "Bent" petitions signed, people. It deserves another shot.
PS. this didn't happen in Californication. If it had, I'd definitely struggle to watch future episodes.
Problem being that Lizzie's not written as "empowered", she's written as a flighty asshole who finally lucks into a job she can blow her way to the top of.
Completely agree. Given he's *this* close to going back to New York, he owes no-one in that room anything. He should have told everybody everything - the hated kid gets blackballed from Hollywood, Charlie gets his balls back, Becca gets out of an awful relationship, etc. There's literally no reason (apart from maybe…
Or have a good actress, as some of the hot women they've had on this show in the past have been awful. Rachel Miner's perfectly okay, she's just not given a lot to work with.
She's clearly had something medical, as from the neck down she was the same gorgeous woman I remember from "Californication". She made me want to get involved in S&M on the off chance I'd meet someone as hot as her.
The fact he thought Operation: Endgame was in any way funny or good gives me pause when listening to any of his other opinions. It was maybe the worst comedy film I've ever seen, and given the amazing cast, it's doubly disappointing.
Completely agree. An amazing episode, genuinely amazed to see such a lukewarm review from here. If you don't care, then stop, please.
