They've already had him as the host of an "American Idol" style show, but it's not inconceivable they could bring him back in another role.

I agree. I know Lassie has some decent comic chops, but it's always nice to see him show them off.
Man, I would love Steven Weber to turn up as a wisecracking demon.
Ebert must also have had to sign off on the use of footage of him on this release - he's presumably fine with what he said, it's the attitude of some people who disagree with him about the film that's the real joke here. I disagree with him too, but he's a very very good reviewer so I'll forgive him this one.
I think this springs from one commenter saying something incorrect about Ebert's reaction to Night, then refusing to admit they were wrong (he could have just…gone to Ebert's site and read the review, had he wished).
I remember reading a quote from a musician who said (jokingly, I hope) that he didn't realise Spinal Tap was supposed to be a comedy as it depressingly mirrored too many of his experiences on the road.
All documentaries are edited to support some intent or other, though, or they'd all be thousands of hours long.
Seems to have disappeared from the internet - no torrents, and the DVD version is like $80, which I'm not paying for a film, sight unseen.
It's not that good, because we're supposed to laugh at a middle-manager and apparent good guy whose company is desperately trying to screw their staff over, all the time. We're even supposed to like uber-fucker-over Portia De Rossi. Did not work.
Michael Sheen is the only Michael who should play Walken. He'd be great.
This was fairly reminiscent of "Phasma Ex Machina", the no-budget sci-fi-indie film. I recommend it.
Completely agree about the dream-Victoria. Not only was she briliant, and the only non-main cast member to have any chemistry with one of the main cast, but the way they wrote her in that scene was perfect.
Nora's been treated pretty badly, really, and I can't see her giving Barney a third chance. I get the feeling they only brought her back because the actress was free and they needed a multi-episode roadblock to the Robin / Barney thing - she's never seemed like a good fit for the show.
I disagree. He said he met the mother at "a wedding", and I'm fairly sure it's never stated outright which wedding is the one where he meets the mother - it could have been Punchy's, it could be the one where he met Victoria…
As happy as I am to keep watching it, this was a really dreadful episode. The cold open was bad, Secret Word was as entirely laugh-free as possible, Les Jeunes de Paris I'm baffled ever makes it to air…
He didn't report it to the police. You're an idiot.
Lorne's too old, but a middle-aged sitting US Senator would be your choice to shake things up a bit?
You don't consider the bees appearing multiple times over 3 SEASONS to be overdoing it a bit? Chase falling down in nearly every episode? The endless Samurai sketches? It looks like you're disproving your own point there.
Not the greatest episode ever, but still, it's ticking along much like season 1 now, and I think that's a good thing. I like the new team, and although Foreman is kinda boring he's tolerable (and there's no way they'd get rid of the black guy). Still, thumbs up.
If there's anyone burning through goodwill at a quicker rate than Laurie, it's Stephen goddamn Fry. I am sick to death of him seemingly having to appear on every show where a bit of smarts might be involved.
