Exactly. King himself has probably admitted it in at least one interview and there are passages in On Writing that imply the same thing.

Too bad it couldn't have been happening this time two months ago.

Stooges version?

I have one that I got from the Elegant Victorian Lady that I can part with for a couple Benjamins. If that's not a steal, I don't know what is.

I feel the same way every time I go outside and I don't even live in Texas.

I can't speak for Dark Fury (haven't seen it), but both games are worth your time. Fair warning, though: they're kinda short, even for modern FPSes. And the 360 version doesn't have any sort of offline multiplayer.

Just as well that I'm roughly the same height as you. I already have a family medical history that'll make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, so I don't expect to live to see 60, much less 70 and beyond.

I'm willing to bet that that's his son.

What the hell you did was get mixed up with someone who turned out to be a) bad news and b) an associate of someone who might be even worse news.

Wasn't the line "Je suis la jeune fille"?

I don't know if broaching the subject with Person X is a good idea. Even taking the man's temperament out of the equation, for all we know, Person Y could either be mistaken (it happens) or just pulling things out of her ass (it also happens), so take it with a grain of salt. But even in the off chance she is on the

Eeyup. Nice change of pace. His response to the last letter was the funniest thing he's written in a while, too.

Same here. While we're talking great covers, the Cure's version of Boys Don't Cry by the Gerogerigegege expands on the original pretty nicely.

No. His response was the best of the group's by far.

I've never seen a second of Breaking Bad either.

That's a legitimate concern for some people, but I myself have no problem watching a movie with subtitles and I can't see for shit without my glasses. If I'm watching something at home and the disc has English subtitles (and it's surprising how many do not), I'll turn them on every time. It makes following a movie in

Even if you're not the kind of parent who wants to shelter their kids or forbid them from watching anything non-pornographic, is taking a child that young to a matinee for an R-rated movie, especially something like Funny Games, a good idea? When was the last time doing even the slightest bit of research on a movie

Typical media behavior. Going with what brings in viewers, bread and circuses, et cetera et cetera. I don't hold any ill will towards Miley, but all the same I wish she would just GO. AWAY.

You know, that's a really good point. Even if I'm not getting anything out of it, it isn't like I have anything to lose from trying.

Eye in the Sky is a pretty solid record. Tales of Mystery and Imagination is worth hearing, too.
