Was that commenter me, by any chance? I'll confess: I hated The Princess Bride the first time I saw it. It spent a good number of years on my "worst movies I've ever seen" list. I've spoken ill of it on a number of occasions in a number of different places.

For the longest time, it was my '4 EPs'* CD-R I'd go to whenever I needed my MBV fix. And not just because I didn't have a copy of Loveless until earlier this year, either. There's material on those EPs that rivals anything on the first two albums.
