Agreed. Not counting a few episodes, I didn't like the last season. But I think 'The End' is a good ending to that particular season and the story it was trying to tell (the very literal battle of good v evil).

If we got a final season with 22 episodes with Pierce and Troy back, I'd die happy. And I don't think it's impossible. I definitely think Troy will come back at some point and I wouldn't put it past Pierce not actually being dead.

It's obvious that a 13 episode season just isn't enough. As much as I've enjoyed S5, it has struggled to balance the number normal episodes and concept episodes (of which there have been too many). I'd have liked to have seen more of Jeff's teaching, but that seemed to have been abandoned before it even began.
