my friend's band recorded an album with the guy who does the sound for her live shows and damn, did dude have some stories. of course i can't recall specifics, but ten or so i heard all confirm that she's pretty much batshit crazy. also, she gets 100% of all ticket sales for every live performance.

PKD never once describes what being high on substance d is actually like, so the rotoscoping gives everything this nice sense of unreality that might otherwise have been difficult to incorporate into the film (without including all of arctor's internal monologues from the book)
