WHY AREN'T ALL NINE SQUARES WU-TANG MEMBERS?!?!

i hate him because his music is fucking TERRIBLE.

i know this is the AV Club, but, comments and staff… y'all are some fucking dorks with terrible tattoos.

if people give a fuck about the tradition aspect of art form, they need some old-ass tribal dude to hammer or sew the tattoo into their skin.

definitely seen a picture of this in a book of shitty tattoos. sorry.

dig a hole in the meadow and pour one out for a salty dog

@avclub-b078f182da4185126b9a62a6a79e7d6a:disqus that was probably the quote, twice-removed from context. for the record, i'm not a doug yule hater.

Lou once said that he hoped Doug was "dead in a ditch somewhere." also that the only reason Doug sang "Candy Says" was that Lou's voice was in bad shape at the time of recording (which, honestly, was probably for the best). Squeeze, i'm afraid, really is pretty bad.

i read about fifty pages of this a few months back, then set it down. i'm about eighty pages short of the ending and i could toss my ARC and forget all about this book- the only reason i read as much as i did was a thousand-mile drive and the fact that it was the last thing i had to read (and got tired of crossword

there are a lot of understandable reasons book reviews don't get as many comments, but the fact that the AV Club puts them up on a "slow" day and gets them off the front page ASAP kind of bugs me.

don't know any personally, so, no, but i certainly enjoy watching Chelsea lose!

he's not a Chelsea fan, is he?

i work in a bookstore, so "not a hardback purchase" is code for "go to the library or wait for the paperback." i loved Beat the Reaper and had no problem selling the hardback to people i felt would enjoy it, but i am honest with my customers and steer them away from things i feel would not be worth their money.

wow, i'm surprised this got a B. how lionel/peter ends up in this situation makes absolutely no sense, the political/environmental heavy-handedness is ridiculous (i'm pretty goddamn liberal, but shit got stupid on that front ((not to mention the fucking manifesto at the end of the book))), and the book utterly fails

i was expecting Gunslinger jokes within two comments; you're pretty slow on the draw

i've got no specifics, but a while back i caught part an interview on npr with a dude who was either a reporter on the SC or had written a book who claimed that Thomas incredibly intelligent, but lazy and biased to the point where he often pays no attention to proceedings because he made up his mind as soon as he saw

what's scary about that is by a number of accounts Thomas is the smartest SC Justice, but also the biggest asshole

next" please:

my friend and i saw Kids in the theater when we were fifteen. turns out nobody else in the large audience was less than 40- we got stared at a LOT while we waited for our ride.
