so you guys are cool with some drunk asshole going "YEEEEAAAAH RADIOFUCKINGHEAD WOOOOO!!!!" during a quiet song? i found it pretty annoying when the guy next to me insisted on doing that.

thank you, somethingawful.

oh, Old Boy is a good one- when i saw it in the theater everyone walked out looking shell-shocked.

normally i get pissed off by people cheering and making noise during a song, but i for real got goosebumps when they played "no surprises" at their dc stop on the HTTT tour and the crowd roared with approval at the "bring down government/they don't speak for us" lines. i'm pretty sure thom cracked a grin.

saw The Happening with a rowdy, drunk crowd and it was a blast. saw The Velvet Goldmine on-campus in college and the half of the crowd that didn't leave sat around making fun of it, which was probably the most enjoyable of all my theater-going experiences.

ah, all the way back in '07. those were truly the fucking golden years, man.

let's share the cultural experience of hating phish
jesus what a bunch of boring bullshit- two of my local beer shops are always playing that shit and it bothers the hell out of me. i can't even imagine how bad i'd want the world to end if i ended up at one of their shows.

don't you mean ZODIAC-KILLER-STYLE?
speaking of groans, though, are we rocking a double entendre here?
"a willing uni professor to fill the pages between explosive blasts"

yeah? well, i'm forming a quartet
with a razor blade, a bottle of aspirin, and a warm bath.

no? where do you live, anyway?

i read The Thin Executioner for work and thought it was pretty good- it's certainly got some pretty dark moments for a YA novel.

if you're talking about the rockafire explosion version, yes.

HOW did he walk out?
fast or slow?

that's not a well, but you can keep on pumping it!

the importance of eating earnest (wouldn't surprise me if that one's been done before)
the soul of man under vampirism

yes, craig, although i wouldn't balk at… well, i'm kinda hot for her.

also, PKD beat him to the punch.

sounds terrible
but if it keeps him from writing another book, then i'm fine with it

pretty soon
we'll be flashing back to the beginning of the flashback.
