The quote on the homepage made me think Mel Brooks "almost bust a gut laughing" at George Lucas' assertion that Spaceballs was "dangerous comedy", as it is neither of those things.
We got "Blazing Saddles", "High Anxiety" and "Young Frankenstein", and then…a whole lotta crap.
Mel Brooks seems like a perfectly nice

Mother fuck Die Hard and their PG-13 bullshit.

“The only thing more terrifying than the last 12 minutes of this film are the first 92.”

Eh, I think once they introduced the "stealing half-pennies" stuff it got far too fantastical and lost the plot. Also, the whole hypnotism thing was dropped without explanation about two thirds of the way through. I would say the first two/thirds of the movie was perfect, and the last third was pretty bad. He didn't ever want the prison. He wanted to kill the people in it and steal their supplies, just like with the army guys.

On EW, they interviewed Kirkman, who said that Berthal actually flew to Georgia for the shoot. He had a beard he couldn't shave because of a movie he's in, so they justified it in the writing.

It's not bizarre. They're not swapping out one black cast member for another. They're simply not doing that. No black character died in the episode Michonne was introduced (though many white ones did). Two black characters were introduced this episode, and there's every indication that they "real" characters who will

In "real" life, Beth and Carl would probably hook up. However, given that this is a TV show, and the actress playing Beth is 28 and the actor playing Carl is 13, I don't see that happening. In fact, there are laws against it.
