It's definitely higher than 90% of TV shows currently on the air.

Some people like to claim offense like it's currency or something. There's plenty of real racism in the world; we don't have to invent it.

Or maybe it's just a coincidence, and not some grand racist conspiracy for literally no reason? Also, since we must play this silly game, Oscar was introduced several episodes before T-Dog died.

Doing what on purpose? Three black characters have died. That's it. Two of whom were barely characters. Yes, most of the characters on the show are white, just like almost every other TV show in existence. I swear, it's like people get off on being offended for no reason.

I'm still not convinced Michonne knows that these are Andrea's people. It's possible she didn't know what Glen, Maggie and Merle were talking about in front of the store, didn't catch the "brother" reference.
It's also at this point just consistent for her character to not trust anyone.

I wonder how much Jon Berthal got paid for that briefest of cameos?

Good point. The Governor probably truly believes Merle sneaked them into the compound. I gotta say, comics Governor was pure evil, but I like the more nuanced (but still pretty evil) take they have here.

Except not. No one died when Michonne was introduced and there were two black characters introduced this episode, and only one previous black character who died, since people insist on tracking this.  AVClub commenters have made this a thing when it's really not a thing. It's quite ridiculous.

Milton would not have cared or have assumed she didn't know what she was talking about.

Talking on the phone to your dead wife isn't "bad behavior". It's nutty behavior to be sure, but neither bad nor good.  It doesn't need excusing. And yes, killing the guy who just tried to kill you and will likely try again is indeed self-defense. Rick doesn't go out in search of people to kill and heads to remove.
