I didn't even figure out it was him until very late in the movie. I was like "I know I saw Guy Pearce in the credits, where is he?  And why did they do such a shitty make-up job on whoever that is?" 
When I finally figured it out, I thought for sure the Engineer was going to somehow make him magically young again.

I agree. I loved the movie, and most of the "flaws" are people being silly and nitpicky. There were a few dumb moments, to be sure, and some clunker lines, but most of the movie was great.

It sounds like, at the very least, she won't be back Sunday. Beyond that, I doubt Jared Harris knows any more than we do.
