None of the kids liked playing "got your nose" with Aunt Martha.

I think it might be on Live at the Old Quarter where Townes reveals that Loop and Lil were parakeets.

I think the often-overlooked soul/country crooner is Arthur Alexander.  He did the original version of "Anna," a song John Lennon sang for the Beatles.  He also did "You Better Move On" which was covered by Mink DeVille.  He's got a great voice.

Potatoes gotta potate.

Nice.  I was about to post the same exact thing.

@Triohead: I used to be, but had to close the shop when I started having  these episodes where I would just stare for a few seconds.

I'm going to buy that single as soon as I commit a theft of one or two dollars from the envelope we keep at work that has minor amounts of cash in it.

You nearly gave me a heart attack.

This sounds like a job for the Pop O Pies.

They've all gone Beat Crazy!

DOOM is the only rapper who can say, "what in tarnation did I go and do that fer" and make it sound cool.

Was Bø Høyer Hansen's sister ever bitten by a møøse?

"We only wanted to finish the album with the minimum amount of effort which we are now doing very successfulleeee"

Steel Leg is the same general era as In Betrayal and has the same goofy sensibility.  I checked Amazon and was a bit surprised to see they have "Haile Unlikely" available for download.  It's well worth 99 cents.

Vinyl and dub and Wobble - ever listen to Steel Leg vs. The Electric Dread?  "Haile Unlikely" with Wobble, Keith Levene and Don Letts on vocals is pretty good PIL/dub and some really funny lyrics.

I second the Global A Go Go recommendation.  "Johnny Appleseed" should have been a massive hit, and "Mega Bottle Ride" deserves recognition among music lovers and astrophysicists for the hypothesis that people in the fourth dimension probably dance to records by the Fifth Dimension.

It's worth it just for the Cost of Living EP tracks.  "Groovy Times" and "Gates of the West" have turned into two of my favorite Clash songs in the last couple of years.

It's Jermaine, but don't feel bad.  He got Lisa Marie Presley that way too.

"filing for bankruptcy does mean that Girls Gone Wild will have to expose itself to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, holding up its assets in a humiliating bid for approval …"  If that's not a personal best, it's certainly top five, O'Neal.
