Right, I get that. While I don't make a practice of taking Victoria at her word, I believed there was some truth in her account of being forced. And the man Jimmy had a nasty edge, seemed capable. V's not afraid of many people, but she seemed genuinely afraid of him. I didn't think that part was a manipulation.
