The fervor in Root's eyes. She's a zealot. She's given up her life and considerable gifts to the cause. Dangerous girl. She will soon be back out there.

Also loved Acevedo in Fringe. He's been a guest on several shows. His ensemble work on Prime Suspect was goodgoodgood. Loved that show.
Liked for mention of Asimov's Law of Robotics.
I see Root as similar to The Joker, too. Such a happy menace, entirely unpredictable, always with the surprise agenda. Love her persona, especially the purr.
Great episode!
Speaking of Kirk Acevedo, he's done some great work since Fringe—loved him in Prime Suspect. Solid actor, great voice. PoI would be a great fit for Acevedo, even if his character—Sloan—can't shoot.
But will the bird sing in a cage? Her loyalty lies with The Machine. If TM can't speak to her, then she will get free to resume their communication. I don't think Finch can keep her for long, but it's nice to see him get the upper hand, if only briefly. Root is rogue to the core—not interested in playing with others.
Great chem between Shaw and Root—their scenes together are smart and sexy. I was thinking that, for Shaw, violence is a kind of intimacy. They played on this tonight when she grabbed the knife from Root and got all up close and personal.
You don't know that real-life hacktivists aren't defacing faces, not for sure.
THE BEST.
Wow, that's intense.
Her SNL sketch where she and her Miley impersonator were dressed and talking exactly the same was too much fun. I loved her for doing that. Her other sketches were better than average, too.
Yeah, I really liked her hosting. The sketches were fun.
Norton was really funny in the possum sketch. He seemed to be into it. He also nailed Rainman—OMG!
Norton's a solid actor.
I think Norton was actually kind of nervous and scared of screwing up. If you want to see him act really goofy, see his guest appearance with Jimmy Fallon last week.
How spacial.
By "mending fences", I did not mean they would all be back under the same roof. Perish the thought. Something very satisfying about the split. Let's not go backwards.
Agree, it was Emily and her parents in the photo. We've seen flashbacks of Amanda as a child, and also of her father. These are different people.
I upped my score just for that black number. One of the best ever Em outfits.
