CYBORG ALERT
Carter's new partner is a cyborg. You can tell by his waxy skin. He is programmed to spy on her and report to Det. Terney. Does Carter know Terney's the one behind her friend's death, and that he's still out to get her? Will the team do something to expose Terney? What a slimeball.

Sorry about the double-post. The comment did not show up at first, and I thought it had been junked by AVC.

The shot where the POI jumps off the building into the trash truck was fun. Desperate measures.

I thought the ending was elegant, even zen. In the absence of a good guy, just back away and let the two settle it between themselves. The team aims to use their resources to protect innocents.

I'm with you on Shahi. Been following her since her work on TLW.

More basis for that one, methinks. At least Shaw n Root are on equal footing. Fusco is no match.

Shaw in another LBD—too much fun. The book club ladies didn't know what hit them. The one phrase about Nabokov lacked authority—I don't think the lady actually read Nabokov. Damn, it's hard to find a good book club.

I would guess no library. Too much baggage. Shaw reads throwaways.

Yeah, that was cool. Bear seems to know some English now.

Lol, that is definitely basis for a relationship.

Also, Reese speaks the language Bear is trained in. (Trained to kill, not trained to stay off the couch.)

Hahahaha. Thank you for this.

Gee, honey, I was kind of down after being kidnapped, drugged, beaten, and injected with a needle to cause nerve pain, not to mention being cooped up with a demented, soul-dead assassin for a day, but now I've had a bath and I'm all good. Well, almost. You picked the perfect time to show me this brochure for a

He's such a ghoul.

More Tom Noonan! Just love that guy. Enjoyed watching him prep the room. Now there's a guy who can deliver a line. He has that melodious, ironic way of speaking. He could easily match Red for weirdness, but was very subdued in this role. They didn't give him much to say.

Haha, so true. And he forgot to dress his dog in a little plastic suit.

I hate Liz and wanted The Stewmaker to kill her. Does that make me a bad person?

Thank you for mentioning the Michael Clayton line. I was irked that a line from such a well-written film turned up here in this not-very-well-written show. This happens all of the time, of course, but both the film Michael Clayton and Clooney's delivery of that line are sacred.

I'm sad about what's happened to some of the characters in this twisty plot to ruin lives. Most recently, the tragedy of Paul. And I'm sad for Jack, of course. I used to like him—he's very bitter now. But Emily/Amanda lost me awhile back with her relentlessness. I don't care about most of the characters and I care

Oh, and yes, I agree that the absence of old buildings has a lot to do with the history of development, which is voracious on the West Coast and systematically knocks down great old buildings I would rather see renovated. My heart aches.
