He wants to dip his balls in you.
Happy birthday? No such thing.
Alec skinnied up over the last year, unless he's regained that weight recently. He looked good during the last 30 Rock season.
The scam was dumb in the original, but because the movie was so light and comedic, and Hackman played Luthor as a kind of self-deluding comic villain who wasn't actually a genius, it worked OK. Recycling it for "Returns" was a worse mistake because the tone isn't quite the same and Spacey's Luthor is a very…
Are you sure it was a joke?
What's weird is that I kind of like Vedder, but really really hate all the singers that imitated him.
Now wait a minute. This song does kinda suck, but what's wrong with CSNY?
Fucking hippies, man.
It's less about the grade and more about the continuous stream of "this movie sucked" articles.
I found it to be a bland movie with its heart in the right place and a couple wincingly bad decisions in the plot department. And Routh did nothing for me, while Spacey was actively annoying. It wasn't an awful movie, but it seems to me that anybody attempting to mount a defense of it as "secretly the BEST Superman…
I don't know if you've noticed, but the entire internet has a hard time with "flawed but still pretty good" art. We only want to really love or really hate things. Hence everybody hates "King Kong" (and everybody either loves or hates "Lost," with the internet basically split right down the middle).
Being studio/production geniuses doesn't make up for rote songwriting.
The Hall of Famer in my books is JD telling Elliot he doesn't love her, and WHEN he chooses to tell her (at Turk's rehearsal dinner, right after she broke up with her amazing boyfriend to be with him). http://www.youtube.com/watc…
It's a social media app. SOCIAL media. What part of this is eluding you?
When it stops being incredibly convenient and useful, and when everyone else I know stops using it?
No it's not. Snark culture is worse than rape culture. Snark raped my whole family.
I agree. I actually liked this one better than most previous entries in the series, many of which boiled down to "Hey, remember this novelty hit that is super-catchy and was mega-popular for a month? I hate it too!"
I'd leave out "much." They were better, but basically it was alt-rock-by-numbers that got over on attitude and the hot lead singer.
Some songs seem to fit perfectly in that unique space where they're so transparently, undeniably catchy and fun that I find it hard to blame anyone for either hating them or loving them. Whichever one you choose, I'm cool with it. This song I sometimes feel both things about it. "Call Me Maybe," I love.
