Yeah, it's honestly just a bad movie. I wasn't really offended by it, but I certainly didn't find it interesting, or even entertaining.

Seconded
They better not be. If this show goes full Haute Tension on us I'm going to feel awful stupid for defending it these past few weeks.
Throne of Blood is my favourite Kurosawa, (maybe even my favourite Shakespeare adaptation), but you can't really go wrong with any Kurosawa in my experience.
I'm in the same boat. As somebody who never watched LOST it seems to me like people are watching this every week just so they have a topical reason/medium to continue shitting on Lindelof.
No problem Tom.
The big issue for me was that the fear of having panic attacks was inducing panic attacks, creating this vicious panic circle that I couldn't get out of. The brand of CBT that I went through consisted mostly of inducing panic attacks, and then giving me the techniques to bring myself down from them, so…
When I suffered from panic disorder I would describe it to my friends like this: "imagine you're hiking in the woods, you hear a noise, and you turn around and see a bear charging you. That is the level of panic I feel when my phone rings unexpectedly, or when there are too many people in the elevator." My brain just…
I saw this uncut at Fantasia (one of my favourite theater-going experiences), and the scene was actually weirder than that.
Stir of Echoes?
Cache
Nope.

WTF was Starbuck?
Why would you (SPOILERS) throw all your non-sentient technology into the sun?

That last phone call with Rudy really made the episode for me. The rest of the cast left so suddenly it was nice to finally have a real goodbye for one of them. And the moment Rudy started to tear up was the moment I realized "holy shit, they're actually going to kill him off."

2 is a decent thriller with a great last scene.
I saw 3 but I don't remember a thing about it
I never saw 4

I thought that the "any shitty movie can be made watchable by adding Kristen Bell" hypothesis was disproven by When in Rome.

What a shame. True Romance, Top Gun, Enemy of the State and Crimson Tide are all favourites of mine, and I'm looking forward to re-watching them this week.
