I'm guessing it happened in Morocco? Archer thinks they had sex, Lana denies it, and then he admits that he was drunk…
Or that Archer just set Lana up to get fired or demoted. Instead of telling his mother the truth — that she quit because of Archer's behavior — he instead tells her that Lana quit because she was insulted by the nature of the mission. Lana has stood up to Malory a few too many times, especially this season.

Yes. And did you see that mustache-man pillow on the chair when they were walking into the living room, along with all the other macho-esque drawings on the wall? And the pretend-car made out of cardboard box that he used to run around in, pretending he was Burt Reynolds.
Paging Joseph Campbell, (Dr?) Joseph Campbell…
I'm not qualified to handle my own life, so you're out of luck. Maybe just learn from the show? What would — or should — Archer do?
Sorry. I wanted to warn people that I was posting a wall of text, and if they read it anyway, to let them get back to the jokes. Being serious about a show like Archer is scary. The deeper meanings resonant because they're just so damn true. We're watching because Reed has taken a story that should be sad and made it…
Yes, she did change him, but rejecting him isn't the joke, even though he may be getting what he deserves. It's for plot and character development.
Sorry to break the rolling comedy in these comments, but since this show holds a special place in my television viewing because it is both smart and intelligent, I'd like to add to discuss the episode itself and the Todd's commentary.
