I thought the show was fantastic, but I think it fell down most seriously is in its opening episodes.  If all you watch is the first 4-5 episodes, you'll see a show primarily about Kelly Bishop bickering at whoever was in the room.  She was a huge presence dominating even the scenes she wasn't in, and she was No Fun

You know what I think would be a fun little show?  A series about a group of young ballerinas in a small town, taught by a witty, slightly caustic dancing instructor adjusting to the culture shock of moving there from Las Vegas.  They could call it something cute, like "Bunheads".

While I appreciate the mention of Dyna Girl, I think it's a misguided choice, from someone who should clearly know better.
