Everyone else get that?
Alright, lay off the breakfast foods Brando.
I dunno man, I laughed out loud at least 4 or 5 times during last Sunday's episode. The jokes on this show are routinely hilarious- it's probably one of the most consistently funny comedies I watch. Plus the family dynamic is really sweet, the animation is stellar, and I love all of the voice actors so it all adds…
Last year, my local stores didn't get any of the 3 or so releases I was excited for.
Not enough computer-generated primates.
But we saved you!
Nope.
I wouldn't say that I hated it, but I did find it very boring. I would give it a C-. Seeing a very mediocre, boring Ghibli movie was sort of a shock, since every one I had seen before that was either solid gold or at worst very good.
This looks similar to Whisper of the Heart, which I adore. I am very excited to see it, and see Goro do something significantly less mediocre than Tales from Earthsea.
@avclub-07083a9024530b20bdd9ef8b38fc6e79:disqus Yep, and like 40 fucking 7" records. It's a ridiculous set.
Yeah the art certainly fell off after Roger Dean topped doing it, but this overshadows the weird tomatos and naked men staring at buildings to come.
That Rancid box set was particularly egregious.
Those Yes albums are so fucking worth the larger size. Opening up Close to the Edge for the first time was a trip.
Dex Dogtective died on the way back to his home planet.
Says the third nipple. What would you even need one of those for? You're a mutation! A monster!
Oh fuck yes. I would always get so hungry reading those books, then super sad that I couldn't have dandelion cordial and hot root soup. I need to buy the cookbook…
I thought it was OK. Certainly not terrible. I wasn't a huge fan of Annie's story to begin with (though it had a funny payoff), the Shirley/Pierce story never went anywhere, and I didn't like Abed's annoying friend. But the stuff with Troy and Britta and a lot of the random lines were very solid.
I think they're doing something where they all switch reviews for a week. A "Week of Second Opinions", if you will.
