I've taken psych classes in college and am familiar with the memory consolidation concept, but I never bought it because a lot of my dreams have no relation to whats happening right now.

In glorious Resurgent Russia of Vladmir Pootin, Yakov Smirnov has died from forced labor and starvation.
The soul crushing poverty of the Soviet peasant is no longer true today.
Wow! That typo actually fits!
Have some symapathy for Fox
They have to make as much money as they can before technology grinds their business model into dust and I'm downloading their films instantly with a couple of eye blinks.
God dammit!
I'm not sure how I'd describe it. Maybe like Sex in the City except you brutally beat to death 3 of the girls and replace them with a hamster, make endless clitoris puns, and name Carrie's boyfriend "Useless".
I don't know how I'd compare it. Maybe Sex in the City where you violently beat to death 3 of the girls and replace them with a hamster and Carrie's boyfriend is named "Useless".
Yes! Show One Piece to a neophyte! They'll love the weird art style, zany slapstick and imaginary pirate setting! Not to mention the close to 400 episodes that you'd have to watch to be current.
Oh yeah? Well back in MY day we had to trade tapes of shitty sitcoms and Knight Rider with Japanese students to get whatever they would randomly send us and we LIKED IT! It was all in Japanese and we watched it enthralled by the pretty moving pictures and unintelligible screaming. Most of it, like any genre, was…
One NOT for the kiddies
Ebichu the Housekeeping Hamster.
Don't forget the original 80's Vampire Hunter D. And Rumiko Takahashi who did Ranma 1/2 did some horror anime such as Laughing Target and the macabre Mermaid's Scar. And I can't forget one of my favorites, Devilman. Starts out a bit conventional but gets incredibly dark and brutal by the end.
I always thought that the tentacle rape thing was just a few pervy anime directors getting off on a weird fetish until I saw the 200 year old classic watercolors of very traditional Japanese girls in kimonos getting it on with octopus.
I've always favored Miyazaki's earlier, more action oriented work such as Nausicaa and Laputa. Nausicaa in particular was such a compelling story and the movie was only a fraction of what he intended. Miyazaki did a manga for Nausicaa which expanded the storyline immensely. It was also the only manga he ever did…
I avoided Eva for a long time mainly due to the wild-eyed fanatics that tried to cram it down my throat. Plus it came out during my 20s where I had sworn off of anime as I had an actual life to live. I finally came back to it a couple years back and really was impressed. I even liked the insane, ultra bleak ending.
FLCL is full of inside jokes that only a hardcore old school fan would get. That being said, I've lent that out to several non-anime inclined people and the reaction is always positive. The visuals and crazed story make for a fun show.
Because Whedon should take the moral high road and NEVER work with the traitorous, Firefly canceling Fox again! And especially take charity from a mere actress who had the audacity to take a development deal from said nasty, evil network!
But nothing beats the shredded flesh on the roof of your mouth after eating Trix. A fun part of a masochistic breakfast!
All I want to know is
Does this mean more or fewer underage girls getting blackout drunk?
I've lived in Seattle for 5 years now.
