this can't possibly be the end. it just can't.

i think we were meant to think that the fixer had established the chain of custody. but of course, she would have had to testify to do it, which never happened.

fair enough. i was sort of going off of the fact that the operative worked alone and didn't wear gloves, and river would have no way of knowing that they were sending them rather than him or someone comletely different. but of course if we're ignoring the movie, then i guess it works.

i assume he wears perfume. or possibly an unreasonable amount of cologne. as for the ponytails, i assume they're considered fancy.
it's a cool theory. but i have to assume that if that was the case, the abduction would have been less violent.
i agree. but to be fair, it can't be easy to fierily edit a letter.
fair point. i suspect we may be using slightly different definitions of "bad". if i'm reading you correctly, you seem to mean that he's good at being in the sense that he's an antagonist who has enough skill and determination to be a threat to the avatar. which is certainly true. especially by the end of the first…
i don't know. out of those six examples of him being bad, only two of them involve him actually being evil (the two season finales). everything else seems to be dumb luck (finding the avatar first), fighting the bad guys (rescuing the avatar), or being downright heroic (being shane).
