So Abe Lincoln was the Ned Flanders of his generation?

A question…
Does this book contain a lot of blokes?

No best pic nom for Wall-E?!?
More proof that the Best Animated category will forever snub Pixar of the best picture Oscar they've deserved many times over. The Academy Awards are a sad joke.

Laura Lippman
So is this book comparable to "What the Dead Know"? Because that book was all assorted types of great.

I don't know why…
But reading this review reminded me of "Never Let Me Go". Partly because that was another book to take potentially exciting genre conventions, but present them in a very muted and insular way about struggles with self-identity.

They kinda are the weak-link of this season. (Although Andy has been

The Killers:
I'm on the fence as to whether or not I like these guys.

Cool deal. Here's hoping she doesn't suffer a back injury reading the thing.

Unrelated Question
Is there a review in the works for "2666"?

I'm probably wrong…
but he sounds like the Japanese Lloyd Kaufman. Or am I completely off-base?

Back in my candy store days, an older women asked if we had any "Black Licorice Babies".
