He does admittedly have a few good variations of Creepy Stare and/or Crooked Smile, and his little quirk of answering the interrogators questions with either his own questions or blabbing on about something we just saw in a flashback is dramatic gold. You must ask your question 3 times. No more, no less.
Also, since Bacon is now obviously the crux of the Poe-Slut's motivation, couldn't the feds just shuttle him into witness protection in some secret location, thus thwarting the entire scheme by removing his cult's raison d'être? Oh, wait, I forgot how competent the cops are in this show.

To me the whole movie felt like a cut-and-paste of various LOTR moments and elements, to the point where nothing had the desired effect given that it had all happened somewhere else before. It was all very underwhelming.
