She seemed a wee bit spaced-out when she was describing him to Tulip. But then again she already knew that Tulip was violent and possessive of Jessie so it's not surprising she said the first thing that came to mind to appease her.

It was the giggle that doomed him.

From the phone call it seemed that he'd already forced her into sex when he said "I'm going to stay over this time".

Even if the results of Jessie's sermon don't go exactly to the comics' plan we still know that it's not going to end well and this episode seemed to be all about characters earning their deaths.

If he's not more specific than that it's gonna be the Meat-God and the whole town will disappear into a sinkhole instead.

we've already had one of the local hookers disappear into a sinkhole so I'm guessing pretty far down.

My own guess is it's more of a Romeo & Juliet thing but the town was looking only at blame when something like that happens to a popular girl. Don't think we'll know it for sure until either Eugene tells his own heart-breaking story or there's a flashback ep.

Got no problem with the dick-shooting in itself. Just don't think it was really well done comedy.

It's pretty obvious Jessie did hose him down. Then after Tulip found out what happened she went out and rescued him.

…so instead of being put to sleep she gives him a day thinking he's found a new family before he gets betrayed and ripped apart, still awake. Yeah, sure. Humane.

Jessie revealed that what Eugene supposedly did was stalk the prom queen, try to kill her (leaving her in a comatose state, as we've seen) then try to kill himself. There's probably more to the story though.

This show isn't working for me. This week, again, very few of the arcs pick up the threads of previous episodes without seeming forced, Jessie especially.
When he discovered Genesis he was rational, then the series seemed to be working him into the position of power-drunk irrational bad guy. Now he's a rational, smart

"every flashback here has a one-to-one correlation with the present, a blanket explanation for their behaviors, no matter how trite." …So it's Arrow meets Friday the Thirteenth.

Hoping he's playing Mirror Master rather than a tv-only side character.

All the points for episode call-back *and* HGTTG ref.

Of course, after he started working for Samaritan at all he was screwed, he realized after they blackmailed him that he could say no but he would be framed and ruined and back in prison or just disappeared. So no, he wasn't evil it's just that Smaritan corrupts, as was reinforced when we saw the extrapolations of a

Was wondering if Root's little sidetrip to the Russians had something to do with it.

I'd really like to hear the soundtrack to this episode without the dialogue, just as they used it. It was really good.

I think the fakeout part was more that people on this show carry important secrets or weapons or super-secret tech in briefcases. At the start of the show it could have connected to the final battle, just like the kid with the flag at a funeral might have been taken for Fusco's son.
But afterwards we find it's
