I think Punisher and Elektra both represent the pandora's box the Devil has unleashed. Punisher is a Daredevil playing for keeps and Elektra seems to be a comment on the type of damaged personality that really likes costumes and violence. Both are unintended reflections of what Matt hoped to achieve.

Yeah. Metcalf was incredibly good, but somehow she felt like a mouthpiece for LCK answering the feelings behind recent allegations that have threatened to torpedo his own career and life.

toned them down apart from having Kara lift a hundred-million tonn key last episode.

So this episode takes the one thing that makes Supergirl stand out, the positive attitude, and trashes it near MoS style.
Her reputation is trashed for what, the third time? Fourth? Frankly there should be no coming back from this. In the public eye she should be cemented as unstable. If this was a Black Mercy or Red K

After tonight I'm wondering if Morpho is the mother of either/ both Monarch/ Jonas Jr. and Rusty and then in the 70s decided to run away and hang out with David Bowie.

That episode just drew me straight into their screwed up world and never let up enough to remember to laugh. And it *was* funny, from Dr. Z's recounting of his BJK/ Blue Morpho tryst to the one second of Brock & Warriana, but every scene showed you so much about the characters and how they naturally interact with this

Have they given us the answer to who Rusty & Monarch's mother is then?

oh hell yeah, the scene from tonights show just makes that even more traumatic in retrospect. Perfect.

The Manhawks? They were cool,; human heads with talons, wings & laser-masks. Grey bird guys in this ep weren't fit to wipe their claws.

The episode was pretty dumb, but also inoffensive despite the list of social topics being lightly ticked off the cheque list.
The head scratcher for me was did Yawndal Snorage set up a fake life there with his own hospital hospital and mad science wing before or after discovering the meteor? It was never quite made

One thing that's interesting is that Brock and #21 are apparently suffering from PTSD while The Monarch has become even more of a sociopathic killer than he was when he was arching other super heroes.

Before they finished the hay ride anyway.

He was a bald guy in a purple suit. Far more Lex Luthor than King Mob.

Insurance pay out, woohoo!

Greg doesn't hate his friends. His issues with Rebecca aren't just about being vindictive, it's that she has displayed some pretty bizarre behaviour around him and has her sights firmly set on his mate, who seems oblivious.

Billy Maim probably Billy Name.
Serpenteen could be Chuck Wein. (Edit: Almost certainly. He was friends with Edie and described as having 'a bad vibe, a very bad vibe)
Trashenstein almost certainly Joe Dallesandro (from Flesh For Frankenstein).

The Legion of Doom & Warhol's Factory. I don't think they intended any other nods, or really needed them.

yes they are the same show.

Sutton, their birth-mother, faked her own death when they were 5.

Just followed the link on Jon Valor and found he was a very minor but heroic DC character. So naturally he's a villian and dies at the end of the episode. Jemm, Captain Light, Vartok, now the Black Pirate. What the hell is it with DC tv shows and this?
