I caught a screening of this last month and thought it was fantastic.  I enjoyed Sound of My Voice (especially for the creepy atmosphere), and I liked this even more.

Yeah, mediocre is understating it.  The Sundance review TRASHED this movie.

This episode was hugely on the nose.  It was so on the nose it was basically just characters speaking in themes.  And unlike TVDW, I was not charmed.  I think there are ways to show Don's mental state with subtlety.

I mostly just felt like Ben Affleck has CLEARLY been thinking about his marriage=work Oscar speech way more than the rest of us.  The internet moves on, Ben.  Nobody remembered before you brought it up.  Making jokes to show that you're cool about it 3 months later does not make it seem like you're cool about it.
