Maybe I'm just more removed from Phi Phi's obnoxiousness, but I dislike Roxxxy WAY more. Phi Phi seemed like an oblivious, immature asshole- someone who was mean because of their own issues and didn't always understand what they were doing.

Definitely Tamar Braxton .com
@avclub-282ed9f430b01ee20bf3dc8c379bc782:disqus UGH SANTINO YOU ARE THE WORST!
She's ridiculous and nasty. Maybe she'll be one of the few Drag Race competitors whose career suffers after the show. Who wants to support that awfulness?
Roxxxy is also exceptionally talented at bitchy mind games.
I didn't see any cheering for Suspect #1's death. Didn't it happen at 1 am on Friday? Most people didn't hear about it until the next morning. The cheering in Watertown/gathering on the Common was more about Suspect #2 being captured and the Shelter in Place Ban being lifted.
To be fair, I watched about 9 hours of NECN news on Friday (Cambridge resident, Shelter in Place ban), and I didn't see an ad all day. I saw plenty of "BREAKING NEWS!!!" flashing graphics when they had nothing new to say, but no ads.
I know it seems odd to spend 28 minutes talking about a doll, but it's just really fascinating news, folks. Also, the president has been arrested for murder. More on that tomorrow night, or you can turn to another channel. Oh. Do not turn to another channel.
Can I suggest that you just… don't? I love Bjork, and I've enjoyed other Von Trier movies, but this one just seemed like misery for misery's sake. And it didn't even really make sense. The characters didn't behave like people- more like automatons programmed to ensure that Bjork received the maximum amount of…
Not to mention that PBS has TWO OTHER SHOWS also running on Sunday nights already (Call the Midwife and Mr. Selfridge). Neither are all that fantastic, but still. Save something for Tuesdays, TV.
I giggled every time one of those ads came on. I'm not going to watch ads I don't have to just because NBC said pretty please. Idiots. I don't have a Nielsen box so it's not like it actually matters for ratings.
The car was definitely weird. One of the few times I'm on Richard Gilmore's side. I don't get why Lorelai's ok with it- she's so adamant about not taking money from her parents because it always comes with strings. Why doesn't this set off her "strings" alarm?
@avclub-6ca57d2774f04ac8acf3d2b10f0338f4:disqus If only FX had an ABC Family-style associate network- it could be a spinoff series. Mariya struggles to keep up with school work, study for her SATs, and remain true to the Motherland while babysitting 6 nights a week for clandestine KGB operatives. But will she find…
I've heard the KGB has a second secret spy ring in the United States. They look like us, they speak better English than we do. I've heard they're not allowed to say a single word in Russian once they get here. They believe in their cause, they never get sick, they have no remorse, they cannot be reasoned with or…
Yes, depressingly true to life. Doesn't Philip realize that pizza delivery is the number one weapon in the divorced dad sad apartment arsenal? I guess they didn't cover that in spy school.
She also gave an Oscar worthy performance as a pouty three year old when Jinkx won the lip synch.
Did anyone see Lindsay Lohan on Letterman promoting this movie? It was really interesting, separate from any let's-all-watch-this-hilarious-car-crash impulse. Dave was in stern grandpa mode- seeming like he genuinely wanted her to get better but also not accepting any of her publicist-written "rehab's an…
Ryan's right that the more you think about Frank's plan, the more it all falls apart. It would be one thing if Frank was just looking to fuck things up and capitalize on the chaos, but the idea that everything he's done this season has been part of a carefully orchestrated move to become VP is insane.
Yeah, the Paris thing always grated. Although I understand the pain/family trouble at the root of Paris, she still treats people TERRIBLY. It makes Rory seem crazy/masochistic to be friends with her after all the shit she pulled at Chilton. Especially when they're friends at Yale because Paris called the…
Nothin' creepier than realizing (like I did!) that you were Rory's age when this show was first on and that you're pretty much Lorelai's age now. Yikes!
