If that's the sorority house one, then it's definitely one of my favorites too.  It's got some great stuff, the inversion of the geeks-good, popular girls-bad troupe, the poor frat student who has to relay an entire conversation between 6 sorority girls ("Now they're all hugging.") and Matt Keeslar having to do things

I'm not up on my Adventure Time, unfortunately. I'm trying though to catch up though! Did we ever find out anything about Marceline's mom?  I kind of assumed that Marceline was some sort of demon or half-demon kid raised by her mom (is Aberdeen a demon? He's not a vampire, no bite-marks) because her dad didn't know

Honestly, I don't recall all the many references to Moriarty in canon at all.  There were references in the stories that directly referred to him, of course, such as Empty House and Valley of Fear, but I don't recall any casual name-dropping. In my experience, Doyle wasn't the best at consistent canon overall. Mrs.

Seymour in the play is a lot less sympathetic than the movie version.  By the time you get to the original ending he's more or less reaped what's he's sown.  The movie removes most of those elements.  I saw the play first so hearing that the movie had a happy ending was equally jarring!

Yeah, that's true for the stage musical as well.  Seymour actively sits by while the dentist suffocates even though he could save him at any point and Seymour feeds Mushnik to Audrey II after Mushnik discovers the plant.  There's no double-crossing or money involved, just Seymour straight up murdering the closest

As much as I loved Summerween and The Inconviencing, I do hope that Gravity Falls gets away from the Wendy and Dipper episodes for a little while.  Granted I'm not really holding my breath for "Mable vs Femininess".

Yeah, a good kid's tv Halloween episode ought to be just a little more then they can handle. Thank you, Garfield Halloween episode for making me able to watch horror movies today.

I was wondering if it was the same voice actor!  That guy has the perfect voice for a creepy man in a mask and hat.

Well, she's also been playing Ms. Lips on Fish Hooks, a show Alex Hirsch helped develop and apparently does voice acting for.  I get the feeling she really likes voice acting.  Or else Alex Hirsch really wanted Ms. Lips on his show, the character is pretty much identical down to the cats, slightly malfunctioning body,

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the pilot. Not wowed, but I'm willing to follow up and see how it develops. I was particularly pleased by Holmes "I'm not always happy to be right" line.  While the Sherlock Holmes of Doyle canon could be a pretty insufferable jerk, he was also shown to be a pretty good
