I suspect that although people respect Chevy Chase, they just don't particularly like him…
But it would make sense since Universal owns the rights to Fletch AND that Cougar Town's and Scrub's Bill Lawrence almost directed the prequel.

Agree but to nitpick, technically he did not cease & desist himself.  He just snitched on the Glee group to ASCAP/BMI for using copyrighted songs without permission.  They issued the cease and desist.

This was a review.  I think Todd just meant to say recap and if he did then he doesn't need to recap the episode.  Recaps are wholly unnecessary except for maybe stray observations.
Todd said a lot of substantive things about this episode, the characters and how it all fit within the general mythology of the show which
