Yeah, I thought that was really odd, but your theory makes sense. Also, holy shit, Josh should have been booted out instead of Monti.

Man, Joe just becomes more insufferable every week, doesn't he? That line about seeing things? Such a douche.

@avclub-ad45e11f2e88b8963920c79cd1d8755e:disqus , I don't know how, but I ended up on Kirkman's twitter the other day and:

Yep, I've read it. I actually read that one before Girls and liked it enough that I went back to see what else they'd done. It's an interesting story, the characters are likeable, and I love that art—all things that it shares with Girls. While I was waiting for each new trade to come out, I was lending them to a girl…
Sick! But what about robots? They're the real threat! Also, ninjas and pirates!

What are you talking about? The comics are filled with nothing but well-defined, dynamic characters. Remember those five or six characters who lost someone and tried to start new relationships, but they were all so DAMAGED? That stuff is gold!

Fuck yes, Hellboy. I'd also love to see some coverage of 100 Bullets or, for a shorter, less convoluted read, Girls.
It really is very poorly written. It's a fantastic idea, and the setting was/is (not sure if I'll keep going past 100) intriguing enough to stick with it, but Kirkham is just such a shitty writer that I was cringing more at the dialogue than any of his cheap attempts at shock.
What is that in reference to? I have an idea, but I don't wanna sound like an idjit.
I hit CTRL+F in the hopes that someone else had noticed this. I always thought it was T-800, and that's what my action figures were labelled when I was a kid, so I'm sticking with that. I looked it up, and evidently, the T-101 thing only comes up in T3, which can be dismissed entirely. FOR SHAME, AVC!

Man, did I ever enjoy that. Then, when they showed the runner-ups (runners-up?) I remembered how hot I found Virginia, girl-whose-name-starts-with-B, and Paula, compared to the other contestants in their seasons.

I'll come back for more comments later, when I'm not incredibly tired, but I just wanted to say that I'm really glad to have these recaps; they're funny, and I do so enjoy discussing this show, even if it can be hilariously stupid. (That editing is really becoming transparent.)
