The characters were certainly well-depicted and acted. I try not to do too much "well, the book did this" when watching adaptations, but I felt like novel Garp built to the conclusion better than than film did.

I guess the feeling was that people wanted the whole Golden Girls, not a fraction. Plus, I think the show relied way too much on guest stars. That said, seeing Rose as a smarter character again was very welcome.

It's funny. I'm sure I watched every episode of My Two Dads when it aired on USA, yet all I can remember is how to sing the (underrated) theme song and that Florence Stanley was friggin' amazing.

Exactly right. Conversely, it feels like films are in theaters forever now. Either that, or there's more theaters.

Well worth a re-watch. I remember enjoying that one with my dad.
