I'll say this for Jennifer Slept Here. The theme song was catchy.

Mantegna hosted a few weeks after Godfather III came out, so he was slightly better known to the viewing public. On the other hand, I suspect musical guest Vanilla Ice was supposed to be the main draw.

I'm more unnerved by the idea of Buzz's suit being red and gray.

If memory serves, wasn't Harry Anderson almost up for National Snoop? That, and the soap spoof Empire?

W, I think, was also a low-level producer of Touchstone's 1980s films.

Yeah, that caught me off guard, too. I have to imagine DHP was drawing from his own memories, hopefully not personal, but certainly of the times.

Thoughts on Northern Exposure, episodes 36-37
I’m going to try something a little different here. Since “It Happened in Juneau” and “Our Wedding” are practically a two-parter, I’m going to write my thoughts in tandem.
