Zapped! is a horrible film, but I have a soft spot for David Pomerantz's "Got to Believe in Magic."

I'm not a fan of cringe comedy, and the glossy feel of Touchstone Pictures during their zenith (1986-94) couldn't offset that. Plus, Richard Dreyfuss is basically rerunning his work in Down and Out in Beverly Hills.
