Maybe a hair better. Once I knew about the Shaffer switch, I can't watch the "Magitones" bit without knowing exactly how Paul would pour on that goofy showbiz smarm.

Elaine was in episode 5, "Russian Flu." Yeah, props to Ed for that inventive solution.

Legal Eagles
The ample charm of Robert Redford and Debra Winger goes a long way in Legal Eagles, an occasionally complicated but generally winning comedy-thriller where the successor to the Manhattan D.A.’s office (Redford) teams up with a feisty, unconventional defense attorney (Winger) to prove an alluring

Glenn Scarpelli, not Zmed.

“Goodbye to All That”
“Sex should be wild. Unfettered and free. We're animals, aren't we? And, basically, we're all wolves in sheep’s fur. I always wanted more. Not frequency; I am not talking about frequency — although that would have been great, too. I wanted more

Oh Matt, you always have the best stories. David played a man named Jack. In one episode, Richard Belzer was a disgruntled ex-employee who held him hostage.

It probably would have gone over as well as my, "You were pretty funny in Delirious."

Towering Inferno is at least enjoyable.

I remember reading TV Guide's writeup of "Aurora Borealis" when it was included on 1997's list of the 100 Best Episodes. It focused only on the Joel and Adam storyline, which kinda annoyed me.

Running Scared
“We lost the suspect, our keys, our car, OUR PANTS!”

Thoughts on Northern Exposure, episodes 7-8

They seem like off-brand Oscar the Grouches in the front page image.

I wouldn't mind seeing the return of these Manhattan versions from time to time.

Thoughts on Northern Exposure, episodes 5-6
(The show’s just not meant to be written about in binges.)
