I could see that being the go-to punchline. "Face it, girls, I'm older and have more insurance."

Barry Miller, incidentally, won the Tony for playing Epstein. Broderick wasn't even nominated.
Interesting. I'll be curious to watch Joel's persona, as it were.
How so re: the production values? I'm certainly more impressed with the exterior scenes.
Nice to hear the show was open to non-traditional casting.
Nah, you're good.
It was always just going to be a placeholder until Kerry Washington could come back to Scandal, from what I understand.
I'm afraid you can't have O'Neals or Tank, as both aren't returning for midseason (they returned for the fall). On the other hand, you could drop a show and plug either in. However, all four of your remaining shows (Pitch is dead) are dying/likely to die — Conviction, Man With a Plan, Frequency, 2BG. The smallest bang…
That was a good episode. I liked Paul and Kevin's friendship.
D'oh! I see you mentioned The Goldbergs.
I so need to watch Bridget Loves Bernie.
The Goldbergs would be the best example of the black and white era.
Wish me luck.
I should note BBM was the first Simon play I ever read. Bound is my favorite of the trio, if only because Kate has additional depth. Joan Rivers played the role at the end of the Broadway run, an ultimately fulfilling experience for her.

If ever there was a film deserving of a remake …
Yes, please!
That's such a perfect niche — the artistically inclined one who isn't snobby about it. If I recall, Cheers had a gag once where the Boyd family felt Diane's home movie was derivative of Goddard. I could see them being those type of people in Hanover.
Yeah, Ed's so far the most well-rounded character of the bunch. Chris is coming close, with Maggie in third.
Yeah, I think the slow burn of "Pilot" was what threw me. I'll certainly be eager to watch the canvas expand. If I recall, Shelley's yet to say any dialogue.
Oh yes, I did enjoy the episodes. I'm just more interested in the story of Cicely than the romance at this point.
