Oh yeah totally they've only got so many ways they can draw a face haha. I actually didn't make the connection until brullio2415 made his comment. I just thought his dying words were meant to be just hilariously over-the-top tragic. But the similarities are striking. but like I said, my analysis comes with a bias

Oh shit yeah! I don't care what people say, I was so into the last two seasons. So many amazing moments wrapped up in supremely ambitious and daring storytelling. And it's all held together by this loving, sincere family dynamic.

Seriously, what the fuck with the lack of Fringe? That single shot of a hand-drawn tulip was one of the most beautiful moments in a series that excelled in beautiful moments. The only scene that tops it that season is the end of the first episode with Walter in the car listening to Yazoo's Only You, which still

Too soon!

"No no! He had that dog he taught to drive the car, and it would always snicker at us!"

Red Mantle's instant "Too soon!" is one of my favorite jokes of the whole season.

No way! Shore Leave and Al are way too adorable together. I've been rooting for them since "Everybody Comes to Hank's".

My first thought was H.E.L.Pe.R, but when Ghost Robot showed up with that low camera, Michael Bay hero shot, I couldn't help but clap and yell "Yay!" I fucking love Ghost Robot, such a weird character. He is a ghost that lives in the head of a robot.

I'd just like to put it out there that looking at the picture of the Monarch's dad and Vendata without his helmet on, they do share a bit more than a passing resemblance. Granted, Monarch's dad is in profile and Vendata's face was all fucked up from being cyborged, but I really like this theory so I'm going to

This is the nerdiest goddamn thread I've ever seen.

God I was freaking out most of the time because cults scare the shit out of me and the build-up had an awesome Wicker Man vibe going. But sometime around the point where SPOILER entire rooms of men shot themselves simultaneously and the cult leader explodes, my hand was sealed to my mouth. That shit really twisted

See, I liked it a ton because to me, the insanity had a sick logic to it. It took all of these crazy cults, all of these horrific images of mass suicides and ritual murders, and it put them all in the context of this being a world where all of those scary-crazy cults are actually right about the world. So, by the

Let's get outta here before one of those things kills Guy.

Didn't Tom Hardy play him in that movie Ronson?

THIS ENTIRE COMMENT IS ABOUT BOOK SPOILERS

@potatosolution, that's actually a cool point. I guess I'm rare in that I thought Under the Dome had a pretty good ending, especially compared to some of his others (Needful Things was a bummer, and I still can't believe the end of The Stand was literally a Deus Ex Machina. What a waste). It kind of petered out,

Yeah I love Gerald's Game and From a Buick 8 (the alien bat autopsy scene is creepy as hell), and I actually really like Desperation. Sure the religious stuff got a little heavy-handed at the end (see also: The Stand) but other than that it's a fun, breezy thriller.

Seconding Skeleton Crew. The Jaunt freaks me out every time, and is really just a great piece of SF. Of course The Mist is stellar, and meaty too, because it's a novella.

Or they can just split Forrest Whitaker's role into two, and recast those roles with John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman.

Do not look directly into…the Nozzle. Especially while fucking…the Nozzle.
