I am positive that Shawcross's response will prove to be the highlight of his federal service. It is not often that any one of us nerds can actually work our geekdoms into our professional careers — particularly if you work for the federal government.

Thank you for agreeing with my decidedly unpopular statement.

That was me. I thought that season 1 was scarier. Not particularly _scary_ scary, but lurking things in basements inherently make me a little uneasy. (Probably because I was scared of going into the basement by myself when I was a kid.) Don't get me wrong: I have enjoyed this campy crazy-town season more overall.

I can totally see that. Boyd's character was pretty epic when he was in full-on preacher mode.

Psych is pure TV fun. I love that its dialogue is often literate and smart, which is so rare on TV (especially on a show about goofballs).

Justified is easily my favorite show on TV — even with greats like Breaking Bad still going strong. It has pitch perfect performances, great humor, unique style, and all sorts of badassery.

@JudgeReinhold:disqus Are you talking about Boyd? I know that you probably don't want to get too spoiler-y with these newbies sniffing about, but I am curious as to why you didn't like his season 2 arc. Maybe it's just Walton Goggins's awesomeness that is affecting my judgement, but I thought that he pulled off Boyd's

I always love it when he uses the word "alacrity."

I know what you mean. So far, the jury's out on whether he's really Justified material. His type of comic relief just doesn't seem as organic as that coming from Dewey Crowe or Wynn Duffy. He comes off too much as Patton Oswalt: Comic. I think that he's much better suited to more breezy fare like Burn Notice.

Ugh. I hope all of that "S" doesn't get in the way of the much more awesome "V" and "L".

They're setting up this season to be a great one for Boyd, as he will be confronted with his own past as a preacher-man to the downtrodden in a way that we haven't seen before — with him taking on the role of Bo, his father. I thought that one of the better callouts to season-one Boyd was when his (former) drug dealer

You missed Natalie Zea? When her name wasn't in the credits, I did a happy dance.

It's not necessarily that I hate TV nudity, but I like said nudity to have a purpose other than justifying (he-he) the "S" in a TV-MA LSV rating.

Is anyone else here bothered by the AV Club's insistence on making the accent mark in première go the wrong way? It's an accent grave, people!

I always thought that my love of DS9 made me a troll in the Star Trek fandom. It's so different from everything else - particularly due to two different things 1) the contributions of Ira Steven Behr (you can thank him for the Dominion War and the darker plot arcs) and 2) Pillar thankfully leaving the show to create

I actually liked Enterprise. Not only was it a vast improvement over the debacle that was Voyager, but the mirror universe stuff was legitimately fun. Even with my issues with T'Pol and Tucker as characters, the show struck me as pretty good.

I am cautiously optimistic. It's the only quality sci-fi show on SyFy right now, so I hope that that alone is enough to propel it forward.
