I can't say for certain what was done since Cass never specifically describes the procedure, but it sounds akin to a lobotomy in terms of sheer invasiveness. I think that I sounded a little too certain in my first post, but I was mostly reacting to the reviewer referring to it as a minor treatment.

You are right; I forgot about that scene. Since she's real she might actually start showing up in the present. Argh. Those flashbacks are enough of a pain — could you imagine her being at the center of an entire episode?

I thought that whole speech that he made about not living in a fantasy world was a big tell as far as the 'big reveal.' I think that the only big twist in that plot will come when we find out who exactly the bad guy is. It might be the girlfriend; it might be some other creature.

Cass didn't just wean him off cartoons and put Beethoven in his head. Cass performed an 'operation' (ie lobotomy) on him that removed his powers — and most of his mental faculties. I didn't find that ending soft at all. Being lobotomized is one of the worst things that I can think of, Beethoven soundtrack or not.

Please explain to me how an hour of attempted murder, death, rape, fallout from botched 'lady part removal,' mutant cannibals, the angel of death, demon possession, and assault can be so damn boring.

Wow - I apparently don't remember that episode all too well!

@avclub-11ed516444b2593eaba7f2c2bb63483e:disqus He is the sheriff on Justified. (He's such a perfect fit for that show.) I just did a search, and it doesn't look like he's definitely been cast on Revolution.

We not only get Lucifer, but Bobby too?! That makes me happy.

I 100% agree. :)

I would agree if not for the fact that the Miles/Monroe relationship is probably the best thing that the show has going for it. When I was watching that scene, I was really hoping that they wouldn't kill him because that would 'redeem' Miles too quickly. Plus, it would just seem too easy.
