Their debut album was super fun dance-punk. After that they went hard on experimentalism.

Definitely one of my favorite Liars albums. They pulled off the electronic sound VERY well, and even though it's their softest album, it still manages to keep loads of sinister Liars vibes.

Loved this a lot. I wasn't sure about the slower back half, but it grew on me in a hurry. Waiting for the instrumental download to become available, because holy shit those beats.

Definitely give High on Fire's album from this year, De Vermis Mysteriis, a listen then. In my opinion, it's the best thing they've ever done.

Murders. My. Balls. Very good album. It's turned me into a Killer Mike fan and has strengthened El-P's position as my favorite producer. Not sure if I like this or El's Cancer for Cure better, but regardless, it's one hell of a one-two punch.

I counter that with my own comment that you replied to that you should instead agree with.

The amount of songs on the album, I guess.

I am pretty excited for this. Honeycomb and Gotham were pretty swell, and I'm glad Deakin is back on with them. I feel that MPP suffered for his absence.

Same. Mine still does it, though.

I mean, hell, even Trees, Swallows, Houses is positively radio friendly when you compare it to stuff like Hella or Tera Melos. It's a criticism I never expected to run into with this band.

"The real cringe-inducing part of the show is" fucking everything. How is this even legal. HOW IS THIS EVEN LEGAL. HO͞͞͏W͡ ̴IS ̶T͟͜H́I͠Ś̷̨ E҉V̴͠ȨN̕ ̵LE̴͝G̴A͠L̨҉̡

As someone who got into Maps & Atlases through their early, energetic math-rock releases, it's kind of bizarre to see Perch Patchwork being the one criticized for being too technical. That being said, even though I get into them way back when and though they get a lot of shit from purists for their transition into

It's like Shia LaBeouf and his full beard. No matter how hard he tries, he will always be that kid from Even Stevens until the day he dies.

This album fills me with glee. Probably my favorite HoF album so far. I really dislike King of Days, though. It's so…plain. I disagree with the point on the solos. "Melodic majesty" seems like it'd be out of place on Bloody Knuckles and Fertile Green. Ridiculous shred is just what they needed.

I do honestly still like most of his movies, even Jersey Girl (really), but Cop Out sucked, and Kevin Smith sucks for pretending that it doesn't suck, and just about ever time he opens his mouth nowadays, it just sucks.
