Romans used to use dried crocodile feces as suppository birth control. Apparently the acidity was a decent spermicide.

Well, let's not pretend a lot of Clooney's "bombs" aren't excellent movies.

I totally just skipped it after that first round they made you play. My buddy was like, "Oh, you get such great weapons if you play it" and I was like, "Nope, don't care. Stupid."

Made me hate David Cross.

If only I had any talent whatsoever! Seriously, though, even if I did know the lyrics, no band wants me to ruin their show by singing their song.

Probably not lyrically, but I'm not really a lyrics person. I think musically it's totally equal.

Kaiser Chiefs. The song was "Oh My God," and they were touring to promote their second album. Also a show where this young girl in front of me was bouncing up and down the whole show, landing on my foot frequently. Very annoying. I liked the show, though. Never really got into the band, but they were good live.

I know the A.V. Club gave their third album a negative review (I think a C maybe), but that might be my favorite. I got them all at once, so I didn't really differentiate them as much as I might have if I had heard them at the times of their release.

I thought Tapes n Tapes two subsequent releases were very good, too. They have almost completely disappeared after the third one, though. I think I might like it best.

Also The Black Kids, who may not have been musical geniuses but were a fun little indie pop band, were completely destroyed by them with a LOLdog review.

One time I went to a show with a friend of a band I knew nothing about (which I do often now, but this was the first time). During the encore the band was singing their biggest hit and the lead singer threw the microphone right at me so I could sing the chorus. I had to dodge out of the way so a real fan could catch

I had this very experience with Cibo Matto a couple years back (a band which followed a similar, if lesser, trajectory, at least until they released a third, inferior (but hardly terrible) album). Some woman really though I wanted to hear her rap along to every song at full volume. I am not a fan of this attitude. I

Eagle-Eyed Tiger - called it!

I only really heard of them through that legend that had built up throughout the 2000s until I finally decided to take the plunge a couple years ago (and it was partly the Parks & Recs reference that finally made me do so). I didn't know much about it besides it was supposed to be great. Ultimately, I agreed with its

For the life of me, I can not remember what this is referencing.

Oh, no, I've heard most of his stuff. Own all his albums, the two Hail Mary Mallon albums, the Uncluded album. All I really lack are his EPs and other collaborations. I'm just saying I heard Skelethon first, and worked backwards from there. I do like it all, except The Uncluded. I've also seen him live twice.

I like Skelethon best, but that's the first one I ever heard.

I thought most people liked The Uncluded, but I'm in agreement. It was an interesting idea, but it doesn't work at all.

Jordan Peele is being played by Furguson from New Girl!

Looting?
