Bought this sight unseen - that's how much I love Father's Day and Manborg. I won't watch it until October, though, since I'm saving up horror movies for that month. I'm mostly cold on gialli, though, and Italian horror in general.
Not to mention Duckie always came off as gay.
You do know the Brits added the U. In the original Latin, there is no U. We just went back to the original.
Full House barely scratches the surface of the inspirations for Horsin' Around.
Wowza wowza bo-bowza!
Or Blue Is the Warmest Color, aka The Scissor Sisters.
I loved this movie back when it came out. I even bought it, but I've never, for whatever reason (well, maybe because it's painful) felt the need to revisit it. Maybe I ought.
It is, but it is particularly that brown teenagers are little shits.
See it now, dammit. It makes Class of 1984 look like child's play (not Child's Play, mind you).

TTSS is the only time I was sitting in the theater and, a little over halfway through the picture, I was like, "Uh oh, I am absolutely lost. I have no idea what's going on here." Sometimes that happens at home where I can be more easily distracted, but it was kind of annoying to know that I had wasted my time and…
I will say the one major criticism I have of the film is that the poetry kind of gets lost behind the animation and the score (which is occasionally overdone).
I always say they need to move to the Twin Cities. They play here a good six times a year, though. I think they just like Mankato (never been there myself).
Saw a couple of good bands tonight.
