I loved this movie back when it came out. I even bought it, but I've never, for whatever reason (well, maybe because it's painful) felt the need to revisit it. Maybe I ought.

I couldn't recommend Class of 1999 highly enough. It's friggin' hilarious.

Does anyone remember the old Mad Max game on Nintendo? Not very good, but I played it a lot, long before I ever saw the movies.

I've seen every major TC hip-hop act multiple times, except for Atmosphere. Somehow they always elude me, like I'll miss their Facebook post about tickets going on sale or some such shit. Makes me pissed. I love their music.

TTSS is the only time I was sitting in the theater and, a little over halfway through the picture, I was like, "Uh oh, I am absolutely lost. I have no idea what's going on here." I will say the one major criticism I have of the film is that the poetry kind of gets lost behind the animation and the score (which is occasionally overdone).

I always say they need to move to the Twin Cities. They play here a good six times a year, though. I think they just like Mankato (never been there myself).
